Emma Redley

Emma Redley had a very successful academic year and is excited about entering grade 8 and preparing for the end of elementary school

This year presented many challenges as most of the schooling was done online and in lockdown. Emma worked very hard and secured grades in the high 80’s and 90’s.

Emma was determined to make the most of her year. She decided that since the school did not have a student council and there was no one to truly address the concerns of the student body, Emma developed a plan to create the first student association in her school which she presented to the principal and vice principal with the glowing support of her teacher.

Emma then created petition to get support from other students in the school.

Her teachers and principals were impressed by her presentation and desire to create change and agreed to allow her to run the first ever election, which she will run as the inaugural student body president in her final year.

A lover of all things artistic Emma has developed a love of writing, composing on her keyboard and singing her own songs We hope to hear a few of those song she has produced very soon.

I believe Emma is most proud of her Babysitting Certification. She worked very hard every day after school for a week learning life saving techniques and successfully completed the Red Cross Babysitting Course. She loves taking care of young children and She says she’s now open for business.
