Aeryn Paradis (2023)
Aeryn or Rinn as she prefers to be called, is another one of our bursary recipients from a single parent home. After graduating from high school, she took a year off to focus on her mental health, with the support of her therapist. During this year she developed a passion for Sign Language Communication and plans to take additional courses in this field of study in the Fall of this year, before officially starting her program in January 2024 at George Brown College..
Rinn continues to explore her passion for the arts with illustration and drawing and even more recently, has discovered a love for baking. She has been spending her time this past year working as a baker for an independently owned local company specializing in delicious gluten-free/paleo/keto desserts and having a marvelous time.
Rinn appreciates the ongoing scholarship recognition given to her through The Grant Morris Foundation.
