Maximus Willams (2023)

15-year old Maximus is a Grade 9 Student at the Father Leo Austin Catholic Secondary School. He is enrolled in the French Emersion Program, achieving an A-Average in his academic subjects.  He is currently working towards his DELF (English Translation Diploma of Studies of the French Language).

This summer Maximus plans to attend McMaster Engineering Camp.  He currently serves as a Broadcasting Technician supporting his church’s multimedia activities and events.

He is a talented soccer player and referee.  One of his new skills is learning the art of hair cutting at his father’s barbershop.  As though the above is not enough, Maximus has an empathetic nature and a genuine concern for others, making him both a valued friend and a team player.

Maximus is thrilled to be included as a bursary recipient of the Laura Anderson and The Grant Morris Foundation.
